General

  • How long does it take to build a home?

Once construction has started, it takes approximately 8 - 10 months to build a home.

  • How can I view a floor plan in person?

You can submit a contact form under our "model homes" page to set up an appoinment to view our homes.

  • Who are your preferred lenders?

Our preferred lenders are Rocky Mountain Mortgage Company and GECU. Before looking at floor plans, be sure to set up a meeting to get pre-approved. This process will determine which homes you are able to afford.

Questions related to credit score, income, and down payment should be directed to your lender and/or loan officer.

  • What incentives do you offer?

We currently offer an appliance incentive when going with our preferred lenders. We also offer a Hero's Program for military, first responders, teachers, & more.

  • How should I prepare for my color selection appointment?

In order to facilitate your appointment, visit our design center website (which can be found in our "resources" tab) to view which products and colors you can choose from.

  • The home I am purchasing is almost built, when will I be able to close?

As the home nears the final stages of construction, a member from our office will be contacting you to schedule an appointment for your home buyer's orientation. Depending on any final details that are noted in the walkthrough, you will be able to close in the following days if you are satisfied with the home.

  • Should I schedule a third party inspection?

Classic American Homes hires its own third party inspectors, and per your request, we can send you a copy of the report. If you would prefer to hire your own inspector from the approved list, you are welcome to do so. Please follow the instructions provided when scheduling your walkthrough.

  • How soon would I need to transfer utility services to my name after closing?

Builder disconnects services soon after closing date. Be sure to transfer services (water, gas, & electric) immediately after closing or by the next business day. When calling, provide your address and request to start services under your name.
